This was the best thing that I ever bought for my baby. The hammock contours to your baby and cradles your baby into a natural position for sleep. It has a gentle swaying motion that my little one seemed to love. I was devastated when she grew out of it.
I bought this new for $300.The hammock came with a "mattress" but it was just an insert filled with fibrefill and cotton wadding. I didn't like it, it wasn't soft enough, so I had some soft foam cut to shape and put that into the hamock. The foam is now being used by my daughter for her dolls cot, so if you want to do the same, you can buy foam pretty cheap from places like Clarke Rubber.The fibrefill mattress is included.Includes 2 fitted cotton mattress covers.
I kept the stand in our living area, and at night when we went to bed, we lifted the hammock off and hung the hammock off a jolly jumper hanging apparutus in the doorway of our walk in robe. It was so convenient.
It comes with a carry bag, so you can easily dismantle it and take it away with you on trips.
